Palo Santo (Holy Wood) Sticks

Listing is for a pack of (3) three palo santo sticks that have been sustainably harvested from naturally fallen trees in South America

Palo Santo is used to promote feelings of peace, clarity and calm while bringing in positive energy & sooth the body and mind. Its name translates to "Holy Wood" in Spanish, and has been used by saints and shamans alike for centuries. Palo Santo has a fine citrus aroma with underlying notes of frankincense, its close relative. Burn in a fire proof container and let the smoke of this Holy Wood do the magic. 

These bundles average approximately 3-4 inches long.

Burning Instructions: Hold Palo Santo over an open flame, tilting the end down at a 45-degree angle and slowly rotating the stick. Once lit, let the wood flame for 20-30 seconds, relighting as necessary. Softly blow out and allow it to smolder. Due to Palo Santo's resinous quality, the embers will self extinguish after a few minutes. This means the wooden incense can be re-lit and enjoyed several times. Place the Palo Santo in a small fire-safe bowl (or walk with the wood throughout your space) and let the fragrant, cleansing smoke linger in your space.
